So, without a receipt, I am out of luck? Just threw away $100 bucks?
Is there a way to get them replaced without a receipt.....

I found a solution you connect the device to the charger and keep the on/off button pressed like 5 seconds, at the same time you unplug the AC charger and reconected so the blue light truns on
iIT worked for me and I had the same problem they just died when I listened to music no sweat no nothing

the dude who posted a solution was right. Just hold the power/pair button down for 5 or more seconds while charging then unplug powercord (while still holding the power button). It should turn back on if short-circuited due to moisture/overheating/miscommunication problems, etc.
Thanx dude! saved me 80 bucks

Hello I purchased the old 903 about a year ago.... I love them except for working out... Thinking of getting the new 903+ does anyone know if they work better for gym time..... Philip has some new ones called actionfit made for sports, but looked at the spec's n they don't even charge on lithium 3.5 hrs only... n smaller speakers.... they r $130 n look like less of quality... If u guys can help that would b great....

I am on set #4..... 2 of them quit because they would not power up... one after only one use.
I am shopping for a different brand. The retailer where I bought mine allows for a no questions ask refund within 30 days... so I have about 2 weeks to find a replacement brand and then this latest set goes back.... not going to risk being stuck with them after the return period runs out.... with a 100% failure rate on the first three sets, I think it is safe to say.... this is not a reliable product....

Plantronics is reluctant to admit there is a known issue with the 903s. I am on my third headset myself. I love the concept, the functionality and the aesthetics of the headphones. I have used these with my wife's Blackberry. I have also used this with both an iPhone and an iPad at the same time. The device is smart enough to switch to phone calls on the phone and music/apps on the iPad. The one thing I hate is that when they die they are dead and no reset procedure works.
My latest call to tech support was to force them to acknowledge there was an issue even though the tech stated he had no knowledge of a power issue or even that there were complaints on the forums about this. The ultimate solution was to replace the headset, this time with a newer model called the 903+. The tech states that this model has resolved a great deal of firmware and other issues over the old 903. I suggest you call up tech support and demand they send you a new 903+. These just came out in the past few weeks so they probably won't send a refurbished model either. If this doesn't work then I plan to demand my money back. They should recall all 903s and send out 903+s to all affected customers.

I've replaced my 903 3 times with the power issue. I called tech support and after talking with a supervisor, they sent me a 903+. I was very happy about that and excited about using the new headset. The form and functionality of the 903 and 903+ are the best out there...perfect for me. Unfortunately, after one use of the 903+, it too is having the power issue. I am so frustrated and disappointed at this point and feel that I have to continue my search for the perfect headset.

My backbeat 903 wouldn't connect to my phone and then went dead (no lights / no sound). I tried Dna's solution and the blue light came back on!
I am still upset because I have owned the bluetooth less than a month! But I am super excited I found your post and it fixed my issue! THANKS for sharing!
HOW TO FIX: connect the device to the wall charger. hold the on/off button for about 5+ seconds, then unplug the wall charger (while still holding the power button) and immediately plug it back in. The blue light should turn back on if it short-circuited due to moisture/overheating/miscommunication problems, etc.

Didn't work for me. Still blinking. If I send these back, it'll be my fourth pair.
