The question remains how much is enough?

If customers are replacing Voyager Pro headsets 2 and 3 times and are repeatedly having similar problems  then something is clearly wrong.

Does anyone out there have any experience with the Plantronics 975?

I have now had 3 Plantronics Voyager Pro units.

The first one lasted about 10 days, the seond about 1 week and the third 1 day.

Same problem, unit will not charge.

I have used the supplied charger as well as trying other charges that I have.

I do sweat during the day.........

I insist on having a BlueTooth Earpiece that is over the ear or has an ear loop.  Can's get a fit on the in ear type.

Any suggestions Plantronics?

Jamlander

Have you tried direct contact with Plantronics.

I spoke with a representative this evening and there seems to be a "moisture issue with the Voyager Pro.

I am likely to try a different model.

I am now on my second headset in 4 months. First one died as described in many posts, Plantronics sent a replacement which has now died in less than 2 months. Houston we have a problem! Very disappointing for a Plantronics product! Charging got progressively longer talk time shorter, eventually wen't completely dead just like the first. I treat the headset with kid gloves?, My beloved 510 keeps on working thank goodness. I sure hope Plantronics can work this problem out, as this issue seems endemic to the Voyager Pro.

I personally don't think it is a moisture issue because I only use mine at home or in hotel rooms when I am definitely not sweating and have control of the temperature.  After my latest one dies, I'm going to buy from another manufacturer.  Have you noticed how Plantronics has stopped posting on this thread?  They don't care because they already have our money.

Well, the replacement I received last Wednesday died today. Five blue flashes, a squawky sound, and silence. No red light, no blue light, no charge. Piece of junk! Plantronics can keep sending me replacements for a year, but I'm done bearing the cost of mailing them back.
