I had the same thing happen with my voyager pro. About 2 weeks ago I got my PVP, it worked great for a week then out of no where it died. Tried to charge the head set and the red light would just blink, after awhile red light went off and the head set was still dead. I contacted plantronics and explained the problem; they sent me a new one which I got today.

I think it is the sweat some how getting in to the head set, because I do sweat a lot and had it on out doors in the summer weather.

I'm having the same thing happen - if i sweat ( I wear it all day - this should NOT be a problem - if so, I'm sorry Plantronics, but this is a design issue - people sweat ) it quits the next day - or if the battery completely depletes - it just quits - there are too many people having this trouble - are you going to fix it?  I love the sound quality and fit and don't want to change to a different model - but this is getting ridiculous-  I'm on my third Pro in 3 months!  It died tonight after depleting the battery - Time to go get my fourth one!

After reading everyone's threads, I can't help but believe that this is a sweat issue.  Unfortunately, I bought mine from Best Buy about four months ago and live in Jamaica.  Like it or not, sweat is somewhat of a given down here.

To think of so many units going down for apparently the same reason, you'd think a next-gen design would be in order... like a strip of tape on the inside to block the moisture?  I'll dig around and look for my receipt, but not feeling very optimistic about turn-around times or getting my unit back through customs.  Beautiful headset, great sound, but dissappointing in the end.

I, too like the Voyager (when it is working), but I am having the same problem. Yesterday, I got my third Yoyager. . . Best Buy replaced twice with no hastle. My problem is that the Voyager works for a few weeks and then stops working and will not recharge. As I read some of the other posts, I am wondering if the problem starts when the unit is allowed to completely discharge. My first two units were completley discharged and failed when I connected to the Plantronics supplied charger.

My Pro died today. Had only one battery flash (66%) last night, but this morning nothing. Won't turn on or off, and there are no lights even when it's connected to the charger. This is my third unit, and it came directly from Plantronics! It is clear that Plantronics has a serious problem with the Voyager Pro, either in design or in manufacturing. Can anyone recommend a better Plantronics headset?

I myself would like to hear the opinions of others with regards to a more reliable headset. The soundd quality is awesome however.

What a pity there are obvious design flaws!!!

I have managed to move it to the wrong thread. It should be in this one. Still learning how to use this forum. :(

I am on my 4th Voyager Pro headset.  Does the same and will not charge.  I use the AC charger that comes with the unit and let it charge overnight.  I purchased at Best Buy with an extended warranty.  I just get tried exchanging it.  The next time I am going to trade it in for something else.

I will give Plantronics high marks for quick replacement. I submitted my Quick Web claim on Sunday and received my replacement today. This is #4 -- I hope it proves to be longer-lived than the other three. If not, I'm going to ask for something else.
