Guess I'll find out too... Dead, No lights, Best Buy two months. Have to bend the ear for the Motorola in the interum. Really hate to get a "refurb" so soon.

Mine is very similar. I got mine right at 30 days ago. Yesterday I put it on at 7:00 AM. About 2:00 PM I got an audio low battery warning. A couple of minutes later I got another. Another couple of minutes and it shut off. I plugged it into the charger about 8:00 PM and charged it 11 hours until 7:00 AM today. Some time this afternoon I got a low battery warning and it died. Now it is dead. I have connected it to the charger and I get no light. It is just dead. I tried plugging into my computer usb port with the car charger I received and still have nothing. Just a dead unit.

If you headset is still in warranty and you have a headset that has stopped charging an/or will no Power On, Plantronics will replace it for you. All you need to do is package the headset up and include your return address, phone number and a copy of your receipt and send to:

The Voyager Pro is not a moisture resistant headset.  So if it is moisture getting into the headset, that may be what is causing the problem.

Plantronics has the 370 Sport which is moisture resistant, but none of our headsets are waterproof.  If you would like a replacement headset, package your headset up, include your return address, phone number and a copy of your receipt and send to:

Hmm, I take it off in the shower (use speakerphone), take it off when mowing the lawn (hey, it's Florida), tend not to swim with it and otherwise own an umbrella. This one is different than the other 9 or ten that I've owned over the years that still work?

But for a positive spin - geez this is the nicest headset I've ever had. Even works with the top down (no rain) in the 46 year-old Corvair at 70mph

I ordered one on ebay.  It's new, or at least supposed to be... but I believe it is.  Came in a sealed box.  Received on Thursday (typing this on Saturday night).  Worked a treat for 2 days.

Earlier today, I -think- i accidentally hit the Call Control button, at which point I heard a single tone, and then nothing.

I went to power it on a little bit later, and it wouldn't power on.  No LED on the headset no matter what combination of buttons I pushed.

I assumed that perhaps the battery was drained, so I plugged it in to the supplied wall charger.  The LED on the headset flashed red (as somebody else on this thread mentioned... every 4th flash it did a quick double-flash).  Left it charging for about an hour, and still I get no response from the headset.  No combination of buttons (power, call control, or volume +/-) give me any indication that the headset is anything more than a paperweight.

Being new to the unit... would hitting the Call Control button, as I originally did, cause it to go into this state (a sleep state, perhaps)?  Any thoughts on any other actions I can take to try and revive it?

If it's a problem with the unit, anyone know if Plantronics will honor an ebay receipt?

Thanks,

Charlie

Hello,

I also have had the same problem. I have had 3 voyager pro's  and all 3 have quit working after 2-3 weeks per voyager.  I do work outside in the heat all day and wear my bluetooth most of the day. I was lucky that I purchased the extra warranty from Best Buy so for 2 years I can keep returning the Voyagers or get another bluetooth over the counter. The last time I got a Jawbone Prime instead of a Voyager, it has been 5 weeks and its still working. I still like the fit and sound quality of the Voyager Pro over the Jawbone. If they can fix the problem causing them to quit working I would take the Jawbone back and get a Voyager Pro. Please let me know if the problem gets fixed.

My couple month old Voyager Pro went on the charger, red light was lit as per design. Came back a couple of hours later, light was extingushed like the unit was fully charged. After the charge cycle, the unit will not turn on, all indications point to a dead unit.
