The Voyager Pro is not a moisture resistant headset. So if it is moisture getting into the headset, that may be what is causing the problem. Plantronics has the 370 Sport which is moisture resistant, but none of our headsets are waterproof. If you would like a replacement headset, package your headset up, include your return address, phone number and a copy of your receipt and send to: Plantronics ATTN: Service Center 345 Encinal Street Santa Cruz, CA 95060

Hmm, I take it off in the shower (use speakerphone), take it off when mowing the lawn (hey, it's Florida), tend not to swim with it and otherwise own an umbrella. This one is different than the other 9 or ten that I've owned over the years that still work? But for a positive spin - geez this is the nicest headset I've ever had. Even works with the top down (no rain) in the 46 year-old Corvair at 70mph.

I ordered one on ebay. It's new, or at least supposed to be... but I believe it is. Came in a sealed box. Received on Thursday (typing this on Saturday night). Worked a treat for 2 days. Earlier today, I -think- i accidentally hit the Call Control button, at which point I heard a single tone, and then nothing. I went to power it on a little bit later, and it wouldn't power on. No LED on the headset no matter what combination of buttons I pushed. I assumed that perhaps the battery was drained, so I plugged it in to the supplied wall charger. The LED on the headset flashed red (as somebody else on this thread mentioned... every 4th flash it did a quick double-flash). Left it charging for about an hour, and still I get no response from the headset. No combination of buttons (power, call control, or volume +/-) give me any indication that the headset is anything more than a paperweight. Being new to the unit... would hitting the Call Control button, as I originally did, cause it to go into this state (a sleep state, perhaps)? Any thoughts on any other actions I can take to try and revive it? If it's a problem with the unit, anyone know if Plantronics will honor an ebay receipt? Thanks, Charlie
