Hey. I gave a mate a 340 headset so we could chat over PS3.

All was working great, and then I went offline for a while so he put it on charge. I came back and we no longer can hear eachother.

On the PS3 settings, the microphone levels are all up, it's set and the headset is connected and active, but there is no sound from the headset or microphone picking up.

I connected it to a Sony Ericsson and I transfer sound to bluetooth, and it just says bluetooth error on the phone.

The headset is flashing every now and again to indicate it is connected.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

The 340 headset is not a multipoint headset.  Try deleting it from both devices and then pair up to one of the devices and see if it works.  If you still can't get it to work, you may have a defective headset and if you would like Plantronics can replace it for you.  Please package the headset up and include your return address, phone number and a copy of the receipt (if you have one) and send to:

Thank you.

I'm tried this to no avail.

I live in the UK.

Is it still OK to send it?

Unfortunately I have no reciept. I cannot find it.

Cheers.

I believe you can get on the Plantronics website, click on support and first you have to register your product and then you should be able to get it replaced.  If they ask you for a date code on your headset, it will be the last 3 digits of your IC number.
